The technology revolution is moving into space. Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Paul Allen and other tech billionaires are investing in projects to open the frontier to business and settlement. By next year the first non-government human space flight operations will begin, meanwhile a dozen or more companies are almost ready to fly or have begun commercial space activities.
Companies are also raising millions to mine the Moon and harvest asteroid resources, with the first missions planned within five years.
